Alice In Wonderland Psychology Paper Proposal

Several of the characters in Wonderland, specifically the White Rabbit, the King and Queen of Hearts, and the pigeon in the tree, display the characteristics of paranoid personality disorder.  They all are hypersensitive, perceive innocent remarks as a personal attack, and are prone to anger.  I propose that living in such an unstable and harsh environment such as Wonderland is perfectly capable of causing such personality traits.

  1. I would like to add that maybe the Queen of Hearts has Tourette syndrome because all she keeps saying is "Off with your head"

  4. I think this is a good idea. But I want to know how you connect the rabbit, the king and the qwueen. I think the personality in sometines they're really similar. Try to think about the detail.

  5. I feel this would be an interesting topic to write about because the behaviors of the characters are very easily interpreted as “mad” creatures. It is an interesting topic and remember to not only describe the creature’s behavior but make a connection with having paranoid personality disorder.
